In the very near future, necessity will be the driving factor of economies, rather than personal preference. Consumer demand will create smaller, more functional, environmentally conservative products in the housing, automotive, and energy industries.
     Gary Chang, a chinese architect in Hong Kong, created a fully modular living space out of his 344 sq foot apartment capable of supporting 24 livable areas (link below after the jump). Its design and innovation like this that will be responsible for changing the way we move forward in the world.
